Rthirteen are proud to be supporting a highly renowned technology service provider in their search for a 1st Line Support Technician. The purpose of this role will be to provide 1st Line technical support to a range of customers.

As 1st Line Support you will be provided with a whole host of training on processes, products, and services… so all that is required in return is a customer-focused approach, can-do attitude, a motivation to solve problems, collaboration, and the ability to work as a team. Duties to include:

  • Managing 1st line cases from start to resolution.
  • Handling incoming calls from customers & providing guidance on technical problems/queries.
  • Applying strong customer service and ownership skills to deal with customers in professional and efficient manner
  • Keeping customer informed of updates and manage expectation as appropriate
  • Raising cases from emails received.
  • Resolving single user faults/administrative tasks.
  • Visiting customers onsite to provide technical support.
  • Creating and updating internal articles.

You will have/be:

  • Previous experience working in a customer focused environment.
  • GCSE English & Maths, grade C or above.
  • IT/Computing related qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications.
  • Customer focused with a friendly demeanour.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Extreme professionalism and personal presentation
  • The ability to work on own initiative and be flexible.
  • Able to work efficiently and accurately.
  • A keen interest in IT & Technology with a willingness to further develop knowledge in this area.
  • A full, UK driving license and be prepared to travel to customers on-site

This is a full time, permanent role working Monday to Friday. The offered salary for this position is £16,000 - £22,000 dependant on experience.
