Rthirteen are currently supporting a fantastic financial planning firm in their search for a Qualified Paraplanner. The main focus of this role will be the delivery of sound, practical financial advice to clients, this will be done through the research and development (using various methods) of comprehensive financial plans & reports.

Duties to include:

  • Preparation of comprehensive financial plans that meet client’s requirements.
  • Creation of detailed recommendation reports.
  • Maintaining regular contact with client’s, developing strong working relationships.
  • Technical product research and analysis, with knowledge to provide any necessary solutions.
  • Reviewing fact finding documentation to ensure there is a full understanding of each client.
  • Ensuring all new business is seen through to completion.
  • Keying/training/shadowing of new business/review applications
  • Some administration duties to be done through the company platforms.
  • Adhering to relevant compliance standards and internal policies/procedures.  

You will have/be:

  • Level 4 Diploma for Financial Planning or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience working within an IFA practice.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong knowledge of financial products, including pensions & investments.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office and other software programmes as required
  • Good analytical and report writing skills.
  • The ability to manage a high-volume workload and multi-task

This is a full time, permanent position working from offices based in North Norfolk. The offered salary for this role is £30,000 - £38,000 DOE.
