R13 Recruitment are collaborating with an IT support business in their search for a Service Delivery Manager. Responsible for the service desk team, you will plan and direct daily operational activities, ensure customer service expectations are continually exceeded, and drive efficiency throughout the team.

You will be a natural leader with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels. Your strong IT skills will support you in making a real difference to the team.

Duties to include:

• Oversee the research and resolution of complex customer enquiries.
• Ensure knowledge base and documentation systems are effectively maintained and kept up to date.
• Reducing the duplication of work and seeking to find efficiency.
• Modelling the highest levels of professionalism and setting the best examples.
• Communicating technology and operational inefficiencies.
• Leading process improvements.
• Demonstrating a comprehensive awareness of a positive business impact on customers.
• Utilising business systems to monitor, manage, and drive efficiency.
• Develop and incentivise internal teams.
• Collaborating to reduce incidents and break-fix in favour of proactive work on networks.

You will have/be:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Exemplary customer service with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Strong time management.
• A natural problem solver with a proactive attitude.
• A team player.
• A strong technical understanding is desired, including Microsoft, Server Operating, Networking, Cloud Telephony, Backup and DR Systems.

This is a full time, permanent position with an offered salary of up to £60,000 pending on experience.
