We are pleased to be partnering with an established business in the leisure industry, in their search for an Events Manager. The purpose of this role will be the creation and implementation of the business’ events programme.

This is a great opportunity to work for one of Norfolk’s most well-known and loved businesses, in a varied role that will draw upon your previous events experience, organisation skills and creative flair.

Duties to include:

  • Developing, creating and implementing the business’ events programme.
  • Taking full responsibility for a portfolio of events, driving the planning and delivery.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the success of events, gaining insights to improve future events.
  • Producing event briefings to be communicated to the wider team.
  • Working in collaboration with the marketing team to create event materials.
  • Ensuring promotional and database content is updated and accurate.
  • Developing strong working relationships, both internally & externally, to support the smooth running of events.
  • Controlling costs where possible to ensure events fall within agreed budgets.

You will have/be:

  • Strong previous experience in managing and running events.
  • Super organised, with strong attention to details, with ability to multi-task efficiently and be able to shift gears quickly.
  • A positive attitude: ability to be diplomatic, assertive, objective, confident, take initiative.
  • A strategic thinker, able to anticipate future consequences.
  • Excellent communications skills: ability to write and communicate clearly and succinctly.
  • A strong mathematical ability for budget creation and management.
  • The ability to analyse and interpret data.
  • Full UK driving license and access to own transport.

This is a full time, permanent opportunity working 40 hours per week, with days being changeable depending on business needs. The offered salary for this role is up to £35,000 dependant on experience.
