Rthirteen are currently assisting a hugely successful insurance broker in their search for a Personal Lines Advisor to join their team. The purpose of your role will be to sell the broker’s insurance to individuals, providing outstanding customer service at every turn to ensure customers receive the right insurance for them.

You will be able to work with a fantastic, dedicated team in a varied and exciting role, dealing with a variety of customers.

Your duties will include:

  • Making outbound calls to sell insurance policies to prospective customers who have generated quotes, either from one of our partners, a comparison website, or directly from our website.
  • Addressing any customer queries or concerns that arise throughout sales or renewals calls.
  • Providing outstanding levels of customer service at all times.
  • Making outbound calls to arrange insurance policy renewals for existing customers.
  • Follow the complete sales and renewals processes through to completion, ensuring card payment details and direct debits are completed accurately.
  • Adhere to all compliance and quality standards including FCA Regulations and GDPR.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external customers to deliver the right outcomes for customers and maintain a positive working relationship.

You will have/be:

  • Proven experience providing outstanding levels of customer services.
  • Experience from within the insurance industry would be advantageous but not necessary.
  • Computer literate with the ability to multi-task and use multiple systems at any one time.
  • Highly resilient and able to maintain attention to detail and focus whilst working independently.
  • Adaptable, willing to learn and open to change, understanding that processes and products will continually evolve.
  • Good active listening skills and the ability to recognise and understand different customer needs, treating each customer as an individual.
  • Able to deal with different customer concerns, questions and objections ensuring that all interactions result in a positive experience for the customer regardless of the outcome of the call.

Working from offices in a highly accessible, Central Norwich location, this is a full time, permanent position working Monday – Friday. The offered salary for this position is £18,000 - £22,000 dependant on experience. Benefits of this role include company pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, optional healthcare plan, travel to work scheme and review of salary after 6 months, subject to performance.
